Finance & Admin Assistant

About SACOSS:
Leading the fight against poverty and injustice the South Australian Council of Social Service (SACOSS) is the peak body for the non-government health and community services sector.

About the role:
An opportunity exists for a team player to join us as a Finance & Admin Assistant to support the operations  while the current Finance & Admin Assistant is on Maternity Leave. Duties will include bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, as well as general administration duties such as answering the phones, meeting minute-taking,  dealing with members and up-keep of the office supplies.

 
About you:
You are a great office all-rounder with a strong background in accounts, who is looking for the opportunity to work within flexible hours in a part-time capacity. You’re always happy to help out wherever it is needed. As well as your second to none customer service skills, you also have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail and a great attitude.
  

  • MYOB Accounting Software knowledge ( AccountRight Premier) is essential
  • Relevant bookkeeping certification  (Advanced Diploma of Accounting or equivalent)

  
Specifics:

  • Salary of $57k to $70k pro-rata
  • Part-time role (0.4) with flexible hours
