*The position of SACOSS Chair is open for re-election in 2018. The Chair is elected by a joint meeting of the Board and Policy Council post the 2018 AGM. As the Chair of both the Board (governance) and the Policy Council (discussing policy priorities), the Chair plays a vital role in leading and representing SACOSS. This can include attending meetings with senior government representatives, including government ministers, as well as on external committees and at other state and national events and forums.
