Constitution

The current SACOSS Constitution was approved by the membership at a Special General Meeting on 4 August 2014. It provides an overview of the purpose, processes and governance of SACOSS and replaces in its entirety the earlier constitution which was approved in November 2007. Download the current SACOSS Constitution

In early 2019 the Board  reviewed the constitution and determined a number of minor changes should be made. There is only one substantive amendment (a change  to peak body membership of the Policy Council), and a few minor technical changes including changing the Executive Director's title (to CEO) and allowing for electronic voting in the annual elections.  

The Special General Meeting to amend the constitution will be held on Monday 2 September at 11.45am in the Community Room at Marjorie Black House, 47 King William Road, Unley.
