The South Australian Council of Social Service (SACOSS) and Council of the Ageing (COTA) are hosting this important community event.

Gillian McGinty, CEO of Boandik Lodge in Mount Gambier, and Juanita Walker, CEO of Whyalla Aged Care will share their organisations’ initiatives to embrace older workers, as well as the benefits this has brought to their organisations.
After lunch there will be the opportunity to choose between two workshops. Managers
and HR folk can look at policies and practices to support positive ageing, and workers can
look at areas to help plan for the future. We will then finish with a panel discussion.
