State Oral Health Plan Information Workshop

Registration is closed for this event

Poor oral health can have a significant impact on people’s lives. While sometimes not at the forefront of our minds as service workers or providers, oral health issues can arise as immediate crises for clients and have flow on effects for other areas of health as well as social and financial problems. If you work with a group for which this is an issue, SA Health wants you to provide input into the development of a new State Oral Health Plan.

The State Oral Health Plan is aimed at improving the oral health of all South Australians, with a focus particularly on those groups who are most at risk of poor oral health. These are often disadvantaged members of the community and the very people that the community sector serves.

SACOSS is hosting an information session where you can to learn more about the SA Oral Health Plan, discuss the issues, share experiences and learn how to provide these as input into the consultation.

Further information including the consultation paper can be found online here and submissions should be emailed by 27 July 2018 to HEALTHSAOralHealthPlan@sa.gov.au
