People at Risk from Climate Emergencies: Priority Setting Forum

Registration is closed for this event
We know that climate events and disasters do not impact everyone equally. Our ability to adapt, prepare and recover from climate disasters is influenced by many factors including age, location, health, disability, language and literacy, location, poverty and social networks. The People at Risk in Emergencies Framework for South Australia was developed in 2018 and the original Implementation Plan is out of date. Red Cross and SACOSS are working together to progress the development of a new People at Risk in Emergencies Implementation Plan, and an Action Team to drive the work. We would value your input into identifying priority population groups, issues or risks that should be addressed across the next two years, as well as the design of the engagement structure including the Action Group. You can register to attend the in person forum on 1 September here, or the online forum on 2 September here.
