Positions at SACOSS
The South Australian Council of Social Service (SACOSS)
is seeking candidates for the position of SACOSS Chair.
SACOSS’s Chair plays a vital role in leading and representing SACOSS, as it pursues its vision of Justice, opportunity and shared wealth for all South Australians.
The Chair formally chairs both the SACOSS Board, which is responsible for the governance of the organisation’s secretariat, as well as its Policy Council, which is responsible for identifying the policy direction and priorities for the organisation.
The Chair also represents SACOSS at meetings with senior government representatives, including government ministers, as well as on external committees and at other state and national events and forums.
The SACOSS Board is currently accepting expressions of interest from individuals interested in nominating to stand as a candidate for this role.
