Risk is an issue that increasingly dominates conversations across all community sector organisations.

From the board right through to your volunteers, risk management remains crucial. But sometimes it feels like it’s being overdone, overrated, and overstated.

This conference is about helping you and your organisation put risk management in the right place. We will explore what the right balance is.

Plenary keynotes from some of Australia’s leading practitioners and academics:

  • managing risks when you don’t have much control
  • what’s genuinely risky for the community sector?
  • does risk management stop us from doing what we really need to?

Panel discussion about organisations’ reputations and how to protect your brand
Hypothetical on when the law gets involved (a help or a hindrance?)
Workshops will put risk under the magnifying glass. Participants will gain practical information and explore solutions to their own issues.
