Access Cabs

SACOSS Conference participants who have mobility issues and will be arriving in Access Cabs may be dropped off right at the entrance to the registration area by following this following simple procedure:

• Direct the driver of the access cab or other form of transport to enter Allan Scott Park through the Members’ Car Park
• Proceed through the car park to the yellow post that is situated to the left of the administration building
• Direct the driver to press the button on the yellow post that is situated adjacent to the administration building. This will buzz through to reception, and they will open the green gates
• Proceed (slowly) through the gates, where signs will be erected to direct the driver to the drop-off point adjacent to the elevator.

Internal Mobility

When moving between rooms during the conference, internal elevators can be used by the mobility impaired. There will be adequate signage to direct participants, as well as SACOSS staff on hand to assist with any access and mobility issues.
